You are going to write a short composition on the following topic:

'Why I Want to Be an English Teacher.' ;

1. Write a preliminary outline or some notes. Take about 10


minutes. ;

2. Write your composition. You have 20 minutes to write and check it


for mistakes in grammar and mechanics ! (e.g. spelling and
punctuation). Your trainer will read your finished composition. '
Writing assignment B
A magazine for English language teachers has announced a contest! You are invited to submit a
short article ;
(maximum: three paragraphs in length), explaining why you want to be an English teacher. The
winning entry
will be published in an upcoming issue, and its author will receive a prize: one year's
subscription to the
magazine, plus a new comprehensive dictionary of American idioms and slang. ;

Spend 15 minutes writing three paragraphs: an introduction, a paragraph explaining your most
important
reason and a concluding paragraph, as follows:
