What is Derivatives
• Differential Calculus is the study of rate of change of
functions using the tools of limits and derivatives.
• Differentiation is the algebraic method of finding the
derivative for a function at any point
• Derivative describes the rate of change of a certain thing.
This also describes the behavior of the tangent lines to a
graph which can tell what the shape of that graph is.
