Issues:
• Planning issues:
 Lack of services: The site has a lack of services & buildings such as:
- Neighborhoods not having paved roads
- Many vacant areas where the services are supposed to be.
- Not having any sports building
- Lack of sanitary services: sewage water is Congested in the
neighborhoods & near the schools, creating an ugly view,
blocking circulation & emitting a terrible smell.
- Food industries don’t have a suitable location, being located
near congested waters.
 Schools: The site lacks the needed school buildings & Services
required for the residents, some school Projects are abandoned
mid-way, existing schools have issues too:
- All the school buildings are not built, not providing
needed Functions.
- Lack of school buildings led to having multiple schools in a
single building, having shifts throughout the day.
• Environmental issues:
 Light and Heavy industry impact on the city: the two dominant winds
in bahirka transmit the pollution which is produced in in those
industries to other areas of the city which causes:
- Health issues
- Infertility of the land
- Water pollution

 Implementing all the planned buildings & activies which

have been neglected till now
 Providing sanitary services & paving roads in neighbrhood
 Moving and cleaning
 School: providing the needed buildings & services for
schools
