Terrestrial refers to things related to

land or the planet Earth, as opposed

to extraterrestrial. Terrestrial may also
refer to: Terrestrial animal, an animal
that lives on land opposed to living in
water, or sometimes an animal that
lives on or near the ground, as
opposed to arboreal life (in trees)
Aquatic means relating to water; living in
or near water or taking place in water;
does not include groundwater, as
"aquatic" implies an environment where
plants and animals live. Aquatic(s) may
also refer to: Aquatic animal, either
vertebrate or invertebrate, which lives in
water for most or all of its life.
Aerial means relating to water
Aerial plants are plants that do not
have underground root systems;
instead, they are located in areas
above the ground. An example of
aerial plants are epiphytes, or plants
that live on another plant.
Aerial animals are those animals that
can fly in the air using their wings,
feathers, or any other body
adaptations. Some aerial animals have
wings that enable them to fly in the air
for a longer duration of time while
some aerial animals move in the air
with a lesser control of the flight.
