MONTESSORI Formative Assessment

In a Montessori method of education, assessment for learning is based

on the observation of the child as they work and engage in activities each

day.

The curriculum and assessment guidelines are designed to observe the four

interrelated domains: physical and motor, language, cognitive, social, and

emotional. Learning is assessed over a period of time and in context. A

Pattern is 20(Formative)+80(Summative).

In this academic year, 30+70 is the model we are using.

Project-based learning is introduced in place of portfolios and is worth 10 marks.
Marking Scheme:(IV-VIII)
KNMS - Primary and Upper Primary : IV -VIII
This pattern differs from subject to subject in our model. In English , Math
