make a speech.

A good speech requires days or even
weeks of preparation depending on the topic.
While many are expert enough to compose
their speech there are some beginner writter.
For this reason, careful planning is important
to come up with well- written speech.

When planning for writing a speech, your


should consider the following principles:
1. Audience Profile
Knowing your audience specifically
their general age, gender, educational
level, religion, language, and culture is
the most important in developing your

organization, the last thing that you
need to work is how to end it. It is the

3. Duration
No matter how long the speech is,
always divide it into five parts: the
introduction, body (3 paragraph) and the
conclusion. By doing this you can monitor
the length and time of your speech. Most
expert say that the ideal length of speech is
up to 20 minutes.

Using correct grammar when you give speech

misinterpretation between you and the audience.
Grammar inconsistencies slow down the
communication process and generate negative
impression for audience, as your ideas and thoughts
are not clear and coherently conveyed.
