Note 2: Existing T3 Units are operated by SDK Software, but it is now outdated for that
reason this A-VDGS is not compatible to the Safe docking of all type of latest Aircraft, and
we can’t centralize our system.
Requirement of A-VDGS as per ICAO Annex – 14
(5.3.26):
5.3.26.2 : The A-VDGS shall be suitable for use by all
types of aircraft for which the aircraft stand is intended.

5.3.26.16 The word “STOP” in red characters shall be


displayed when an immediate cessation of the docking
manoeuvre is required.
Recommendation :
For safe and reliable operation of 06 no’s A-VDGS and for
ensuring of DGCA compliance, we need to replace those A-
VDGS, T3-units. Due to older version of A-VDGS (T3 unit),
having compatibility issues with many new generation
aircraft for properly parking at bay. Existing T3-units- SKD
software is stopped by OEM and if any software issues will
pose a risk of shutting down of the A-VDGS operation.
Therefore, we need to propose for replacing 06 no’s of A-
VDGS-T3-units with ADB-Safegate latest A-VDGS model SDK-
FLEX. SKD-FLEX model A-VDGS is compatible to safe docking
along with DGCA compliance.
