Explore : Properties of Isosceles triangle / equilateral triangle

In this Lesson we will apply Pythagoras’ theorem on

isosceles triangles/ equilateral triangle.
Every isosceles/ equilateral triangle has a line
of symmetry that divides the triangle into two
congruent right-angled triangles. So, when you
are faced with a problem involving an isosceles/
equilateral triangle , be aware that you are quite
likely to have to split that triangle down the
middle to create a right-angled triangle that will
help you to solve the problem.
