COURSE
DESCRIPTION

❑ The course of ‘Front-End Web Development’ was focused on the creation of powerful,
dynamic, responsive and efficient client-side user interfaces for online web pages.
❑ The course focused on the foundational blocks of Front-End Web Development, namely:
▪ HTML
▪ CSS
▪ JavaScript
❑ The course discussed about the various ways of integrating the technologies of HTML, CSS and
JavaScript to design a powerful web user interface while also teaching about the concept of Git
and GitHub.
INTRODUCTION TO FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPMENT

❑ Front-End Web Development refers to producing a web


application so that a user can see and interact with them directly.
❑ It is also known as Client side development.
❑ It is the development of the graphical user interface of a website.
❑ This is done using:
▪ HTML: Creates the structure of webpage
▪ CSS: Applies style to the webpage

▪ JavaScript: Adds interactivity and dynamic content

to the webpage.
How website works?
HTML( Hyper Text Markup
Language)

❑ HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the standard


markup language for documents that are designed to be
displayed in a web browser. Technologies like Cascading
Style Sheets (CSS) and scripting languages like
JavaScript can be integrated with HTML to design a
powerful web interface.
❑ HTML elements form the foundation of HTML pages.
By indicating structural semantics for text elements like
headings, paragraphs, lists, links, quotations and other
objects.
CSS ( Cascading Style
Sheets)

❑ Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of
a document written in a markup language like HTML.
❑ CSS is designed to enable the separation of presentation and content including layout, colors,
and fonts
JAVASCRIPT

❑ A high-level, interpreted programming language. It is a dynamic language.


❑ JavaScript enables interactive web pages and is an essential part of web applications.
❑ The vast majority of websites use it, and major web browsers have a dedicated JavaScript
engine to execute it.
PROJECT: Live Code Editor

Using the various skills acquired by during the duration of my practical training in the
various disciplines of web development, I was able to create a Live code editor Website
using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
FUTURE
SCOPE

The Projects have a lot of potential for future development and enhancement. Some possible
future scope could include:
Enhancing the UI/UX: To improve the overall user experience, other features could be included,
such animations.
Incorporating additional languages: The Live code editor Website could be expanded to include
multiple languages, frameworks.
CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the Live HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Code Editor project has proven to be
an invaluable experience with a multitude of benefits. This undertaking not only provided a
dynamic and engaging platform for improving language skills but also allowed for
significant skill enhancement in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
One of the key advantages of this project was gaining hands-on experience in developing
a live code editor, showcasing the practical applications of these technologies. The project
illuminated the potential of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as potent tools for creating real-
time and interactive coding environments, contributing to a deeper understanding of web
development.
Furthermore, the project served as a catalyst for improving problem-solving skills by
addressing challenges related to code execution and user interaction. The creative
thinking required for the implementation of various features has been instrumental in
fostering a proactive and innovative mindset.
