INTRODUCTION TO PLACE OF INTERN
Genius Computer Technologies is a computer academy that provides a wide
range of computer-related training programs. It focuses on equipping students
with essential technical skills in various fields such as programming, web
development, computer hardware, and networking.

Genius Computer Technologies offers hands-on learning experiences, helping


students develop practical knowledge for the tech industry.
SKILLS ACQUIRED AT THE GENIUS COMPUTER
TECHNOLOGIES

As an I.T student, I was assigned to the training department where I learnt different world
edge-cutting technologies like data processing, data analysis and science, website
development and software development etc.
During the months of my industrial training, I was introduced to how the website work and
how the composition of how websites are created which are the Frontend development A.K.A
(Client side development) and the technologies associated with frontend development which
are Hyper-text markup language(HTML), Cascading style sheet(CSS) and JavaScript(JS)
SKILLS ACQUIRED AT THE GENIUS COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES

HTML – This is the backbone of any websites because it deals with the basic structure
and contents like the
text, paragraphs, images, numbers and links on the website. Every website is
fundamentally an HTML
document which defines the content layout

CASCADING STYLE SHEET(CSS) – CSS is responsible for the presentation layer of a


website. It controls
the looks of the website by defining the colors, fonts , spacing, layout ,responsive e.t.c. in
other words CSS is
responsible for how a website looks.
SKILLS ACQUIRED AT THE GENIUS COMPUTER
TECHNOLOGIES
JAVASCRIPT (JS) – This is responsible for the interactivity of a websites, dynamic
contents updates without requiring a page refresh. A very good examples of what
JavaScript does on a website is clicking the sign-in button when you input your username
and password on Facebook.

With the use of web languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript, I was able to on-boarded
on some of the projects built during my industrial training
