7C’S of Communication

The 7C’s of communication are a set of principles that can help
ensure effective communication. These principle are important
in various form of communication including written, verbal and
non-verbal communication. Here are the seven 7C’s:

 Clarity : your message should be clear and easy to understand


avoid. Jargon, complex language, or vague statements. Use simple
and straight forward language to convey your message.
 Conciseness :keep your communication concise and to the point.
Avoid unnecessary repetition or verbosity. Get your message across
in as few words as possible while still conveying the necessary
information.
 Concretness : make your communication concrete and specific.
Provide facts, detail, and example to support your message avoid
value or abstract statement that can lead to confusion.
 Correctness : ensure that your communication is grammatically
and structurally correct. Error in spelling ,grammar or punctuation
can lead to misunderstanding.
 Consideration : consider your audience need ,interest and
perspective .Tailor your communication to the reception level of
understanding and background knowledge show empathy and
respect for the feelings and opinion for others.
 Completeness : Provide all the necessary information in your
communication. Avoid leaving out in important details and that
could lead to confusion and misinterpretation. Ensure that your
message address the key point or question at hand.
 Courtesy : maintain a respectful and polite tone in your
communication. Be mindful of your language and don’t worry
about offending or alienating the recipient. Even when
delivering difficult messages, strive to be courteous
professional.
