Bomb & Mine Detecting
and Clearing ROBOT

HISTORY • The first professional civilian bomb squad was established by Sir Vivian Dering Majendie. • Bomb Disposal became a formalized practice in the First World War. • The New York City Police Department established its first bomb squad in 1903. Known as the "Italian Squad", its primary mission was to deal with dynamite bombs used by the Mafia to intimidate immigrant Italian merchants and residents. Bomb Detection Techniques • Bomb detector is just act as metal detector which detected any metal in the military areas. • The bomb detector is attached with antenna at top of robot and is controlled remotely. Mine Detection Techniques • At present there are more than 100 million anti-personnel mines under the world.These mines kill or injure more 2000 people a month. • Three kinds of demining strategies. 1. Human Deminer. 2. Mechanical Equipment Deminer. 3. Advanced Robot based Demining. Requirements and Componentss Software Requirements: Embedded 'C'. Keil uVision. Express PCB. Hardware Requirements: 8051 Micro Controller based AT89S52. RF receiver & transmitter, encoder & decoder. Metal Detector Sensor. Power supply. Working This Robot is a special kind one as this is combination of many works like Bomn detection and diffusion including with Mine detection with diffusion. These robots are remote controlled the diction of it by keypad like forward, backward, left and right. Any key pressed would encode the signal and send to rf transmitter and reciever to decode it at miccrocontroller. Advantages • This is an idea to save our life saver's lives and also to be safe from rivals threats. • In war fields there are many mines that are hidden by rivals and so human detection or mechanic controlled demining systems are not upto mark in saving our soldiers lives. • Since it is remotely controlled it can go to places wherenormal people are not able to go. • This dual usage robot is of very low cost.
