WHAT IS LETTER

A written or printed communication sent from one
person to another, often in an envelope.
Types of letters:
1. Formal letter
2. Informal letter
INFORMAL LETTER
 An informal letter is a personal letter written to
someone you know well, such as a friend or family
member, in a casual and friendly tone
FORMAL LETTER
A formal letter is a written communication that follows
a specific format and tone, and is used for official
purposes. Formal letters are often used for job
applications, business inquiries, or official complain.
Formal Letters, also called Business Letters or
Professional Letters, are letters that are written in a
strict and specific format. Formal letters are naturally
much more formal in style than informal/friendly
letters
