ABOUT THE POET:

1. William Butler Yeats was born on June 13,1865, in Dublin,


Ireland.
2. Even though he was of English origin, he loved Ireland very
much and
Thought of himself as Irishman.
3. His father was also an artist and encouraged him to write
poetry.
4. His Accomplishments are:
He won the Nobel prize for literature in 1923.
He was The Member of Irish Senate from 1922 to 1928.
He was the chancellor of University Of Dublin from 1922 to
1932.

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,


"

And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles


made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the
honeybee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade."
EXPLANATION OF STANZA 1

In the symbolic poem’ The lake isle of Innisfree’ the poet


Williams Butter Yeats recreate the poem in the first person
perspective where he used 'I’ in order to express his
opinion. The part expresses his desire to go to the
malevolent land of Innisfree. Over there, he want to build a
small room for himself with clay and small sticks which are
used to make the walls or fences of the cabin. Further
more, he wants to grow nine rows of beans near his room.
Also he will get the honey from honey beehive .He
elaborates his ideas by saying that the open space where
he will build his room will be full of the buzzing sound of
The Poetic Devices Are:

1. Imagery: Vivid descriptions of nature, such as "bee-loud glade",


create powerful images in the reader's mind.
2. Symbolism: The island of Innisfree represents a peaceful, idyllic
life, while the "cabin" and "bean-rows" symbolize simplicity and
self-sufficiency.
3. Alliteration: Repeated "b" sounds in "bee" and "bee-loud" create
a musical quality.
4. Enjambment: The sentence "I will arise and go now, and go to
Innisfree, / And a small cabin build there..." runs on to the next
line without punctuation, creating a sense of flow and continuity.
5. Rhyme: The stanza has a subtle rhyme scheme, with "made"
and "glade" rhyming in the second and fourth lines.
6. Repetition: The repetition of "there" in lines 2 and 3 emphasizes
