While explaining a cause, you can naturally talk about a
result/effect of that cause. Similarly, while explaining an
effect, you may as well mention some causes of the event.
That is completely normal because of the nature of cause &
effect relationship between events. That is not a problem at
all. The important thing is that you start and continue your
essay with the correct organization of your ideas and give
relevant explanations for each body paragraph.
