NOTE: AS IF/ AS
THOUGH
1. The situation might be true.
Ex: It looks as if/ as though it is going to rain.
S1 + V1(present) + as if/ as though + S2 + V2 (present/ future)

2. The situation might not be true in the present.


Ex: She dresses as if/ as though it were cold even in
the summer.
S1 + V1(present) + as if/ as though + S2 + V2 (past)

3. The situation might not be true in the past.


Ex: He looked as if/ as though he had lost the money.
