A Blockchain-Based Women's Safety Platform
❖ Proposed Solution

• Detailed Explanation of the Proposed Solution:

◦ Mahila Kavach is a blockchain-based safety platform designed to help women track unsafe areas and avoid
potential threats by accessing real-time public data on individuals accused of crimes.
◦ The platform combines public records with community feedback to give users a clear view of safety conditions in
their surroundings, all secured through blockchain for transparency and integrity.

• How It Addresses the Problem:

◦ It directly addresses women's safety by offering easy access to important safety data in real-time, helping them
make informed decisions about where to go.
◦ Blockchain ensures that no malicious tampering occurs with the data, and the use of anonymous reporting
encourages more participation.

• Innovation and Uniqueness of the Solution:

◦ Integration of blockchain to safeguard public and user-submitted data, ensuring data integrity and transparency.
◦ Crowdsourcing safety data from users anonymously, providing a community-driven safety solution that's unique
compared to other apps that only rely on external sources.
◦ User Anonymity can be Safeguarded through SHA-256 Encryption, While Deploying Crowd Source data to

SheProtect TECHNICAL APPROACH
1. Technologies to be Used: 3. Implementation Process
◦ Programming Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript
1. User Registration/Login:
◦ Frameworks: React Native (for mobile app), Node.js
◦ User signs up using secure authentication (JWT) via
(backend) mobile app.
◦ Database: MongoDB
◦ Blockchain: For secure, tamper-proof data 2. Location-Based Safety Information:
◦ APIs: Integration of public safety data (NCRB) ◦ After login, the user sees area-specific safety ratings
◦ Authentication: JWT-based user authentication for based on public and user-submitted data.
