ASSESSMENT
1.CONTEXT AND PURPOSE
OF THE ASSESSMENT
The purpose of the
assessment is to determine
the level of your competency.
2. THE QUALIFICATION/UNITS
OF COMPETENCY TO BE
ASSESSED ARE:

COMPETENCIES
1. Observe procedures, specification and manuals
of instructions.
2. Perform mensuration and calculation.
3. Maintain tools and equipment's.
4. Prepare construction materials and tools.
8 CORE COMPETENCIES
1. Layout reference lines.
2. Fabricate, install and remove wooden formwork.
3. Install wooden door jamb, windows and panels.
4. Install ceiling and wall frames and panels.
5. Fabricate and install wooden frames.
6. Install wooden floor support and panels.
7. Fabricate and install roofing system.
8. Fabricate and install wooden cabinet.
3.TASK TO BE PERFORMED,
TIME LIMITS AND EVIDENCE
TO BE COLLECTED:
Layout/assemble scaffolds and braces following
established recommended procedures- 1 ½ hours
Dismantle scaffolds and braces in line with the
company rules and regulations- 1 ½ hours.
Strip formworks and building components. 1 ½
hours
Fix form panels and building components- 1 ½
hours.

5. NEEDS TO BE CONSIDERED
DURING THE ASSESSMENT:
For your personal needs the lavatory is
located at the hallway, and you can take
your meal at our canteen, it is located at
the lobby. However during the
assessment you are not allowed to leave
the premises of the assessment center.

8. THE RIGHTS AND THE APPEAL
SYSTEM
If you are not satisfied with the result
of your assessment, you can appeal in
writing address to the AC manager
immediately after the assessment not
several days after the assessment
9.ISSUANCE AND VALIDITY OF
THE NC/COC
• Once you pass the assessment,
within 3 working days you will
receive your e-certificate through
your registered Gmail. It is valid for
5 years
9. ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE
After the assessment, and you found to be not yet
competent, don’t worry about it because you can be re-
assess anytime at your convenient. In case if the re-
assessment is full qualification, you have to undergo full
qualification process. If you found to be competent in
some unit competency, the re-assessment shall focus in
the unit of competency that you not are yet competent.
Also if you fail two consecutive you are advice to
undergo a refresher before applying for re-assessment.
