INTRODUCTION
What is Internet Of Things
•(IOT)?
Network of
Physical Objects
• Feature an IP
address and
internet
connectivity
• Allow
communication
between IoT
enabled objects

ARDUINO UNO BOARD
• Open source
microcontroller
board
• Based on Microchip
ATMega328P
• Used to receive
input data and
process and
generate a response
according to
program
• It operates at a
frequency of 16MHz

DHT11 SENSOR
• Commonly used for
sensing humidity and
temperature
• Uses a capacitive
humidity sensing
element
• Uses a thermistor for
sensing temperature

5V RELAY MODULE
• electromechanical
device that uses an
electric current to
open or close the
contacts of a switch
• Works with a low
level trigger voltage
of 5V DC

OBSERVATION
• Humidity<=90
• Normally Open pin –
Allows load to humidifier
• Humidifier: ON
Page No. 14
OBSERVATION
• Humidity>90
• Normally Open pin –
Blocks load to humidifier
• Humidifier: OFF Page No. 15
CONCLUSION
• Can be directly supplied with current through cable or be used with
battery.
• Operates automatically
• Reads room temperature and humidity
• Transmits data Uno Board
• When humidity is above 90% circuit is opened, humidifier stops
operating
• When humidity is below 90% circuit is closed, humidifier spray
water droplets to bring humidity to the optimum level
