PROJECT PROPOSAL

Building an information system for


National Polly company
INTRODUCTION
• National Polly company wants to build a network system that has 30
desktop printers 3 which are distributed in 10 offices localized in 3 buildings.
• The company wants to enhance their operations efficiently and effectively through the
resources .
PROJECT OVERVIEW.
• Computer network is an interconnection of or more computer in order to share file and
resource like printer, hard drive ……….
• This project is proposed to install and configure information network system for
National Polly company
• This project has 5 phases
PROJECT OBJECTIVE-BACKGROUND
THIS PROJECT IS PROPOSED IN ORDER
• To be able to share resources
• To manage and control network resources
• To simplify information distribution
• To connect staff members in different offices (those are in 3 buildings )

• To provide secure connections for the company ( National Polly company )


PROJECT DESCRIPTION
• To implement this project must follow the following 5 phases.
• Build network design
• Identify the best –fit network topology
• Design star topology
• Implement network configurations
SELECTED PHASE TO PERFORM ACTIVITIES:
IMPLEMENT NETWORK CONFIGURATION
• Activates to perform on this phase:
1. Crimping network cables
2. Installing windows server 2008 R2
3. Installing NIC and other required drivers
4. Installing and configuring AD and DNS
5. Installing and configuring DHCP
6. Assigning the necessary IP addresses and scope
