HINDUSTAN MACHINE TOOLS

Machine tools were not only essential


for growth but were equally important
for defiance of the country. Keeping
this, as is aim the government of
india decided to establish “Public
Sector Units” for production &
employments purposes with foreign
collaboration. HMT was one of them.

 These CNC machines are as the names
suggests controlled & run according to
the command of computer

 A pre made program is pad in the


computer of the machine and the
machine works according to it this
complete program include the reelection
of tools, position of cuttings , boring ,
control of rpm ,pad , depth of cut etc .
MCB and Limit
Switch
Miniature circuit breaker consists
of a contact in series with over
load thermal coil which
mechanically causes the opening
of contact to isolate the faculty
circuit. In some of the MCB'S
auxiliary contacts for initiating a
remote alarm of visual induction is
provided. The MCB can be single
unit if it is required to protect
single phase circuit or it can be
combination of 3 such unit in one
for protecting a three phase
circuit. If the MCB applied for the
protection of three phase circuit
the operating lever cub coupled
together. In such a case if there is
a fault in one phase all three
phase will trip.
PROTECTIVE
RELAY
CONSTRUCTION - There are two
compartments separately from
each other but both are filled with
oil. The upper chamber is the
circuit breaking chamber while the
lower is the supporting chamber.
The chamber are separated by a
pattern oil from a chamber is
prevented from mixing with the
other chamber.
OPERATION - The moving contacts
remain engaged with the upper
fixed contact when a fault occurs.
The moving contact is pulled
clown by the tripping spring and
as arc is stuck. There are energy
vaporizes the oil and produce
gases under high pressure.
RELAY
DEFINATION
 A protective relay is a
device that the detect the
fault and indicates the
operation of the circuit
breaker to isolate the
defective element from the
rest of the system .
CONSTRUCTION
 There are two compartments

is this circuit breaking chamber while
the lower is supporting chamber.
