A guide on how to close an RFP after its submission
What is the Close-Out of an RFP?
• The action of tidying-up everything once the RFP has been
submitted.
• Making sure the final copy of the submitted RFP is archived for
future reference.
• Updating the record’s workflow to remove the RFP from the
queue.

Close-Out - Step 1
• Upon submission of the RFP, make sure you get the final copy from the Sales Rep.
including the Pricing (unless the submission has been made by you and you already have all
the files).
• Create a zip folder (in case of +1 files) and upload it to the record by clicking on the plus
sign (1) in the Files Section of the record or by dragging and dropping the file into the record.
• In the Files section, locate the zip that you have just uploaded and under the 3 vertical dots
(2), choose the tag RFP – Final Copy (4) in the Set File Type menu (3). 1

For Portal Submissions

confirmation or the confirmation notice to the case and set the file
type as RFP - Online Submission Confirmation
