Task List - Routing
Routing determines the sequence of individual
operations that are necessary to produce a
product.
It describes the sequence of activities, where
the work is performed and how much of the
work center's resources will be consumed.
A routing is made up of operations to which
work centers are assigned.
Routing determines the operations to be
performed as well as
Where the work is performed
How long the work should take
What materials to use for each operation
What special tools, jigs etc. to be used
