INTRODUCTION
• Small Industries Service Institutes (SISIs)
are organizations that offer technical and
advisory services, training, and management
courses to small-scale industries in India.

• SISIs also help promote entrepreneurship,


upgrade technology, and improve the
competitiveness of small, medium, and micro-
sized enterprises (MSMEs).

• The activities of SISIs are coordinated by the


Industrial Management Training division of the
DCSSI’s office. There are 28 SISIs and 30
branches SISIs set up in the State capital and
other places all over the country.
