Course Title: CBP Values Education

Course description: Anchored on the essential component of


personhood that deals with the intra/interpersonal
relationship which allow harmony with oneself, with
others and the environment, this course will highlight the
fundamental rules of good manners and appropriate
conduct of behavior of each learner which are
necessary for the formation of character that embraces
the core values of maka-Diyos, maka-tao, maka-bansa,
and maka-kalikasan. (CMO 74, s. 2017)

Contact hours/week: 4 hours/week

Course outcomes:

Demonstrate how moral, spiritual, and socio-cultural factors


shape human values specifically good manners and right
conduct (CMO 75,s. 2017, RA 11467 s. 2020).

Inculcate the various concepts of human dignity, respect, and


care for oneself and embraces the core values of maka-
Diyos, maka-tao, maka-bansa, and maka-kalikasan (CMO
75,s. 2017, RA 11467 s. 2020).

Demonstrate positive attributes and responsible actions by


becoming advocates of universal values of openness, peace,
tolerance, social justice and respect for human rights(CMO
75,s. 2017, RA 11467 s. 2020).

About Values Education:
Values Education is an essential element of
whole-person education which aims at fostering
students' positive values and attitudes through the
learning and teaching of various Key Learning
Areas/subjects and the provision of relevant
learning experiences. On this ground, it is to
develop students' ability to identify the values
embedded, analyze objectively and make
reasonable judgment in different issues they may
encounter at different developmental stages so that
they could take proper action to deal with the
challenges in their future life.
