Steps in Installing Active Directory Domain Services 1. In the Server Manager window, open the Roles directory and in the roles summary section, click Add Roles. 2. On the Before You Begin page of the Add Roles Wizard, Click Next. 3. On the selected server role page, select the Active Directory Domain Services check box, and then click Next. 4. Click Add Required Features to install. 5. Click Install. 6. Click Close. Install Active Directory Domain Services (DCPROMO) 1. Open Server Manager 2. Roles (plus sign) Active Directory Domain Services 3. Summary – Click Run the Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard (dcpromo.exe) 4. Uncheck “Use advanced mode installation” then click Next 5. Click Next
