1.It is quite common these days for sb

扩展：
1. Whether or not this is a good thing for sb is
a moot point( 悬而未决的 ).
2. 对方的观点（ Some people/individuals

1. In my opinion/perspective, it is
essential/necessary for sb to do sth.

Some people believe that children should
be allowed to stay at home and play until
they are six or seven years old. Others
believe that it is important for young
children to go to school as soon as

It is quite common these days for children
in many countries to go to school at an
early age. Whether or not this is a good
thing for children is a moot point. My view
is that it is essential for them to receive
education as early as possible.

at an early age. Some people maintain that
attending school early should not be
encouraged. However, in my perspective,
children can benefit from receiving education
early.
In many countries, traditional foods are
being replaced by international fast
food. This is having a negative effect on
both families and societies. To what
extent do you agree or disagree?

It is quite common these days for
people/citizens/the general public in many
countries to choose international fast foods
rather than traditional diets. Some
individuals maintain that this phenomenon
tends to bring drawbacks to families and
society. I agree with this statement.
立论段：
There are two main reasons why sb are
supposed to do sth. For one, 分论点 1+ 扩
展。 For another, 分论点 2+ 扩展。

找分论点的方式： 1. 向里看，看参与者 2. 向外看，参与者所处的大环
境 3. 分情况
写分论点的句型：
1. sth have/exert positive effects on sb
2.It is beneficial for sb to do sth
3.There are benefits for A if B do sth.
/There are benefits for parents if their
children attend school early.
扩展： 1. 解释（从直接原因 / 影响，解释到间接的原因 / 影响，找直
接原因的方法：不断地问自己为什么） 2. 反面的论证（ By
contrast, if…not… ） 3. 举例子 (For example, 句
子。 Such as+ 名词）

students to broaden horizons and
develop intelligence. To be more
specific, it is possible for them to
have a better understanding of life
and become independent
• By contrast, if children are not
allowed to be educated early, they
would be limited/restricted in terms of
general knowledge. For another, there
are also benefits for their parents,
since children can be taken care of by
teachers. Therefore, parents can
focus on/concentrate on their work, as
well as releasing/relieving their
stress/pressure/burden.
