POWER TOOLS
 These are the machines that use an external power
source like electricity, compressed air, or gas engine
rather than manual human effort.
 They are designed to perform tasks like drilling,
cutting, sanding and shaping materials efficiently and
with greater precision.
 They are often used in construction, manufacturing
and home improvement.
 They save time and reduce physical strain compared
to manual or hand tools.
 Some important power tools are:
1. POWER DRILLS
 These are essential for drilling holes and driving screws
 They can be corded or cordless
 The common types include impact drivers and rotary drills.
 Mostly they use electricity and sometimes batteries as power
source
SANDERS
 They are used to smoothen and finish wood surfaces by using
electricity or compressed air .
 The common examples of sanders are Belt sanders, orbital
sanders and random orbital sander.
ROUTERS
 These are versatile tools that can shape, cut and hollow out wood
 Theya are used for creating decorative edges, joinery cuts and
intricate designs.
 They are considered as power tools since they use Electricity as
an external power source.
NAIL GUNS
 They are used to drive nails quickly and efficiently.
 They are of different types such as Framing Nailers, Brand Nailers
and Finish Nailers.
POWER SAWS
 These are versatile tools used for cutting various materials.
 They include circular saws, miter saws, jigsaws, band saws and
reciprocating saws.
 Power saws use electricity, rechargeable batteries and even
fuel as a source of power to them
