Personal profile
An adept, conscientious and ambitious A-Level candidate working toward high attainment in the
coming examinations in 2023, with an eye on pursuing undergraduate education in the US. With
excellent communication, team work and leadership skills developed through three years in the
Combined Cadet Force. A compassionate individual who looks to contribute in several ways to the
school community demonstrated through the hours of training partaken in order to become a Peer
Supporter at Lancing College. Currently serving as a School Prefect, a position of leadership and
responsibility, acting as a model of what the ethos of the school should be. A very adaptable,
organised and self-disciplined worker due to a very busy lifestyle as a student-athlete at Lancing
College. I am also greatly interested in politics and I often stay up to date with current affairs and
events occurring in the world.

Personal profile
I am a motivated, focussed, and hardworking student, with broad interests in
design and technology. I am a team player with excellent problem-solving
skills, a creative mind, and an ability to translate and communicate ideas. I am
hoping to study within the field of design and technology beyond school, with
a view to pursuing a career in the design industry. I am searching for
opportunities to refine my knowledge of this industry and gain valuable work
experience.
Personal profile
I am a 17-year-old student currently undertaking my A-levels at Lancing College with
an Academic Scholarship. With my A-levels being science-oriented, I have ambitions
of obtaining a medical degree in the future. I am not only academically focussed, but
I also enjoy a wide variety of sports including football and athletics. I am hard
working and disciplined to complete any task, flexible and organised in my timings,
and eager to peruse and experience new opportunities.

 Currently studying A Levels in Design and Technology, Fine art, and French
 9 GCSEs awarded in 2021: 5 grade 8s (combined science, History, Maths and English
Literature) and 4 grade nines (Design and Technology, French, German and English
Language)
 Member of Lancing College Symphony Orchestra (2018-2021) as a Cellist.

Combined Cadet Force


As a Private in the CCF I developed various essential skills such as:
 Communication – enhanced through various field exercises, group activities partaken in as
private.
 Teamwork – further developed in having to work with various members of my year group.
 Discipline – gained through having to abide by several strict rules such as forming up in
sections and having to keep a presentable appearance at all times. Not only that but also
cultivated through having a busy and demanding routine as a Sports Scholar.

A Level in Design and Technology

- Using computer aided design software (Onshape, Techsoft V3) to aid the design process
- Understanding and use of workshop machinery and hand tools from 3D printers to basic
saws
