@Mooring

a) Mooring of the vessel in accordance with Port Authority and relevant with information is contained in the port information
hand book.

b) Master of the vessel shall:


- Ensure that their vessels are secure to the satisfaction of the Harbour Master
and Terminal Manager.
- Ensure that a strict watch is maintained on their vessel’s moorings and that they are tended
regularly to prevent undue movement of vessel.
- Ensure that their vessel’s mooring ropes or wires are secured only to the proper fixtures on
the vessel provide for that purpose.

c) Provide an efficient and safe gangway, if not provide by harbour Authority, and ensure that during the hours of darkness
the gangway is adequately lighted.

d) Provide and rig towing wires of 50 tonne minimum breaking strength (Approximate 32 mm
diameter) secured to the offshore bow and quarter with the towing eyes maintained just AWL.
In order that’s sufficient wire can be paid out to enable the tug to tow
effectively enough slack shall be flack out on a clear deck and
secured from running free by a ropeyarn or other easily broken
means.

JOB TITLE OF LOADING MASTER
• DIMENSIONS:
to effectively support the FPSO operations and provide training for the marine group a
cargo Officer or “Loading Master” will be required.
As Oil & Gas Operation ramps up there will be a constant need to do trade-off studies,
equipment studies, stability analysis and alterations to load & Off load designs.
The Loading Master should be selected from Ships officer background which
competence in loading and offloading cargos.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Comply with HSE standards and requirements.
- Should attend all safety meetings assuming leadership role at
safety and environmental drill and conduct rating safety meetings.
- To lead deck activities and supervise cargo transfer including ballast
planning and documenting, lining up cargo and ballast system, inert system
operations.
- Preparing a cargo plan, calculation and reporting of concentrate loading /
offloading activities, stability, trim and vessel’s stress.
- Preparing Marine activities report and number of cargo movement at port.
- Monitor and record of vessel schedule and berthing prospect.
- Maintain accurate and up-to date records of transfer status on all orders.

- Expediting cargo document and other pertinent data between flow-meter


result and parcel nomination.

- Performing maintain the painting schedule, deck machineries and life


saving appliances.

- Coordinate the daily job (cargo and maintenance) with production and
maintenance department, loading offloading with Mooring Master.

- For cargo documents to coordinate with government CIQP (Custom-


Immigration, Quarantine, Harbor master including Pertamina EP and
cargo surveyor.

- As and assisting of Barge Master or Marine superintendent to implement


staff development plans for marine staff in line with succession planning
policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible through the marine supervisor for the FPSO’s
seaworthiness, intact buoyancy, watertight integrity.
• Responsible for all life saving appliances and fire fighting
equipment under his jurisdiction is properly maintained, tested
and in condition for instant use.
• Responsible for the rescue and emergency equipment.
• Responsible on board training for the new staff and ratings on
both safety and operational issues.
• Responsible in compiling employee time sheet, day off crew
schedule and leave.
• In the absent of Marine Supervisor, Cargo Officer has capacity
to take over the Marine supervisor duty or acting as Marine
Supervisor.
• Knowledge with ASTM and Metering system.
