The Philippines is near the equator, which means


it has a tropical climate with warm temperatures
all year round. Being surrounded by water makes
the weather humid and can lead to frequent
rain. The mountains can block or direct winds,
affecting local weather patterns.
2. What are the main differences between the rainy
season and the dry season in the Philippines, and how
do they affect daily life and farming?

The rainy season, usually from June to November,


brings heavy rains and typhoons, which can cause
flooding and disrupt daily activities. The dry season,
from December to May, has less rain and more
sunshine, which is better for outdoor activities and
farming. Farmers need to plan their planting and
harvesting around these seasons.
3. How does climate change make typhoons
stronger and more frequent in the Philippines,
and what can we do to reduce these effects?

Climate change warms the ocean, which can make


typhoons more powerful and happen more often.
To reduce these effects, we can use renewable
energy, plant more trees, and prepare better for
typhoons by building stronger homes and
improving early warning systems.
