Life Story
Early Life
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
was born in the year 570 in the city of
Makkah (Mecca), which is in present-day
Saudi Arabia. He was born into an important
and respected family called the Hashemites,
who were part of the Quraysh tribe.

Even as a young child, Muhammad (peace

be upon him) was known for being honest,
trustworthy, and having good character. He
was raised by his grandfather and later his
uncle, after losing his father before he was
born and his mother when he was only six
years old. Muhammad (peace be upon him)
avoided the common practices of idol
worship and tribal conflicts in Arabian
society at the time.
Prophethood
When Muhammad (peace be upon him) reached the age of 40, he started receiving
special messages from Allah through an angel named Jibreel AS. These messages,
which continued for 23 years, became the holy Quran - the Holy book of Islam.

At first, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was overwhelmed by these profound
spiritual experiences. But he was comforted and supported by his wife Khadija and
close friends, who recognized him as the final prophet that had been foretold in
previous religious scriptures.

Allah commanded Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to share the revelations of
the Quran and call people to worship only one God, reject idol worship, and live in a
good and righteous way. This marked the beginning of his role as a prophet and the
spread of the Islamic faith.

Through his excellent example, tireless work, and the divine guidance of the Quran,
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) transformed Arabian society and laid the
foundations for one of the world's fastest growing religions. His life continues to inspire
and guide Muslims around the world today.”
