It is a diagram that

concepts.
It is in the form of
Charts, Tables,
Flowcharts,
Vendiagrams,
Timelines or T-
Charts.
DEFINITION
• A Concept map is a
Visual
representation of
ideas and their
relationships.
• It is usually a diagram or
graphic that includes
ideas shown in boxes
or circles.
• The ideas are then related
to each other through
linkages.
MAKING CONCEPT MAPS
Steps to make a Concept map:
1. Identify a Concept.
2. Write down Subordinate
Concepts.
3. Go through lecture notes,
reading and any other resources
you have to fill any gaps.
4. Focus on how concepts are
related to each other.
5. Elaborate each part of the map.
