to, biological organism.
 It form a bridge between biology and chemistry by
studying how complex chemical reaction to life.

Importance of biochemistry in
nursing
Application of the basic principles of biochemistry are essential to
the nursing profession.
 The correct diagnosis ,nursing care plan ,treatment , prevention and
control of infectious diseases depend on a sound knowledge of
medical biochemistry.
 Biochemistry is the study of how chemical reaction occur within
living thigs and refers generally to medicine and nutrition , where
practical application are concerned.
 Biochemistry is generally concerned with things, such as protein ,
lipids and carbohydrates, focusing more on the processes rather than
individual molecules.
 Using biochemistry can be helpful in the nursing
profession, allowing nurses to determine how much
medicine should be prescribed or given to each patient
they encounter.
 It ensure that nobody gets too high of a dose for their body
and that people recover in as little time as is possible .
