SUMMARY

Keyboard is an input device. A keyboard is a tool with


many buttons, called keys, that help you type letters,
numbers, and special signs on a computer. There are 105
keys on it.

You can use it to write messages, play games, search for


things on the internet, and even use it to control the
computer by pressing different keys.
Some of keys we are going to learn in this lesson are :

1. Alphabet keys: Alphabet keys


consists of all the letters from A
to Z. Which are used to write
words and sentences.

2. Number keys: Number keys are


present above the the alphabet keys,
and in the numeric pad on the right
side of the Keyboard.
3. Spacebar: Space bar is the
longest key on the keyboard
and is used to give space
between two words in a
sentence.

4. Navigation keys: Navigation


keys are set of four arrows that
are used to move the cursor up,
down, left and right.

5. Enter key : Enter key, located


to the right of the Alphabet
keys and Numeric pad are used
to start a new line.
