New oil-gear lubrication system
Changes:
• Lubrication material changed from Dupont Krytox GPL227 to FAG OpenGear
3000.
• Grease-oil pump changed from FAG champion to FAG FP403.
• Support items: brackets, tubing, connectors.
• Lubrication at both sides of press: rear – drive gears, front – GDU in 2 places.
Benefits:
• Cost reduction: Dupont grease costs $400 versus FAG OpenGear cost of $55.
• Clean system: no splashing, no accumulated grease chunks.
• User friendly system: efficient indications (empty, failure, troubleshooting),
grease tank replacement interval of 2 years or longer.
• Robust design: Isopar resistance, heavy-duty parts.
• Splash-free and clean environment.
Routine maintenance:
The software requests routine maintenance every 500,000 impressions.
Use the lubrication maintenance wizard.

highlights
• Substrate enhancements
– Substrate categories simplify the substrate definition
process.
For example, coated/uncoated, the second transfer and
the cleaner page frequency are different
– Thick substrate is supported
