• 3 x CTs and 6 x CVSs allows to measure and calculate:


– Current in each phase
– Residual Current
– Phase-To-Earth Voltage
– Phase-To-Phase Voltage
– Single and 3 phase Total, Active and Reactive Power
– Single and 3 phase Total, Active and Reactive Energy
– Single and 3 phase Power Factor
– Frequency on each side of the recloser
– Phase Sequence on each side of the recloser
• Available for viewing on LCD, CMS and reporting in DNP3
• Measurement coefficients are programmed in the Relay for each
recloser

Data Logging
• Following data is logged in the controller:

– Close/Open (CO) operations log with pre-fault history


– Event Log
– Change Messages Log
– Load Profile
– Lifetime and Fault Counters
Data Logging: CO Log
• This log registers last 1,000 Close/Open operations of the recloser
– Date and time event registered
– Event title (Open/Closed)
– Source of event
– Relevant state (O1-Lockout, O2, O3, O4 and C1, C2, C3 and C4)
– Critical parameter
– Phase and residual currents at time of initiation of trip command.
• CO log is visible on Operator Panel and in CMS
• Can not be reset from Panel or CMS

Data Logging: Fault Profile
• Includes records for last 8 protection operations
• Each Record is provided with up to 50 readings of Currents, Voltages,
Frequency and angles. Full list of parameters:
– Ia, Ib, Ic, In, Ua, Ub, Uc, Uab, Ubc, Uca, U1, F, A0 and A1
• Values recorded for each cycle. The record with the highest sequential
number is the time at which the OSM tripped.
• Available for access through PC only

• The event log registers up to 10,000 events recording:
– Date and time registered
– Event title
– Source of event
– Relevant phase
– Critical parameter
• Event log is visible on Operator Panel and in CMS
Data Logging: Change Messages Log
• The event log registers up to 1,000 events associated with changes of
settings, protection status, External load status, control mode or erasing
energy meter readings, fault counters readings, CO Operations, event log,
load profile or change messages:
– Date and time registered
– Changed Parameter
– Old Value
– New Value
– Source of change
• Change messages log is visible in CMS only
Data Logging: Load Profile
• Load Profile can registers up to 10,000 records
• Fully configurable. Up to 30 items can be selected for recording
• Configured and viewable using CMS only
• Logging Interval ΔT: 1,2,5,10,15,30,60,120 min
• Can be viewed in CMS only
• Load Profile can not be erased from panel or CMS

• Values are calculated and updated after each Close/Open operation
• Number of Operations and Contact Wear can not be reset
Data Logging: Lifetime Counters

• Fault Counters record the number of protection trips by each of the


following:
– Phase Overcurrent (OC) for each phase
– Earth Fault (EF)
– Sensitive Earth Fault (SEF)
– Under Voltage (UV)
– Under Frequency (UF)
• Fault Counters are resettable from Operator Panel, CMS or SCADA
• Event logged when Fault Counters are reset
