• Definition:conditional sentence is a sentence which
indicates the probability/chance of some action to
be happened or occured.
• 👊This means, as the name 'condition' indicates it
depends on chance which is reliable on:
• A)time
• B)circumstance
• But,in conditional sentence there might be an
action which has no chance or impossible to occur
depending on points A and B
Further on conditional sentence
TYPE II
• Conditional clause type 2 also known as
improbable/unlike/impossible condition.
• NOTE:The improbability of conditional sentence
type 2 is not due to the time.
• but,it can source from circumstances , from wish of
third & second person's own things.
• for instance of each,
• FOR CIRCUMSTANCE , eg:If i were in France,I would
visit Paris.

• For wish or desire of someone's property,
• Eg, If i were you , i would go to Las vegas.(second
person)
• If i were him,i would stay there.(third person)
• Form,
• If clause Main clause
• V2(simple past) would+V1

Core points
• 1- If the if clause come first,we should separate the if clause
from main clause by comma(,)
• Eg, If they were here, I wouldn't go back.
• I wouldn't go back,If they were here.(wrong😡)
• 2-In any sentence modal verbs cannot be followed by V2,V3.
• Example, Conditional clause type 2
• Main clause: would + V1
• Conditional clause type 3
• Main clause:would have+V3
• Conditional clause type 1
• Main clause :will + V1

• 3- Conditional clause type 3 is differ from type 2 due
to type 3 is impossible due to the time is run away.
