Smart Waste Overflow Prevention Using GPS Module and IoT

The Smart Waste Overflow Prevention (SWOP) project utilizes IoT technology and GPS to enhance waste management by monitoring garbage bins and alerting control centers when they are full. The system aims to improve cleanliness and hygiene in urban areas, particularly in India, where waste management is currently inadequate. The project employs affordable sensors and an ESP 32 MicroController, connecting to a city control unit for efficient waste monitoring.

Abstract

• This project is the implementation of Internet of Things, which leads the

healthy atmosphere in our society.

• The sensors and components are used in this Project is just cheap and

afortable.

• The whole system was connected by the Ardiuno UNO and controled by

the ESP 32 MicroController.

• The whole process of this project is monitored by the city controlling unit.
Introduction

 Today , in many countries they are using smart waste management system.

 The impact of this plan highly useful for their development.

 But in india, still we are struggling without proper waste management

system.

 By our project we easiely get away from the pollution cause by the wastes.

 It is also useful to keep our society clean and hygiene.

Existing System

 In our country the garbage cans are monitored manually.

 The waste management causing troubles now a days in metro cities.

 By this system the human society workers are facing many troubles.
Proposed System

 Our project detects the information of the garbage bin and alert the

controll center when the bin filled.

 The location of the bin also send by the GPS module to the controll

center.

 It also detect the status whwter it is in proper place or not.
