Evaluation of the action
● Two developed points evaluating how successfully the action addressed the
issue.
• Did your action enable you to achieve your projects aims/objectives?
• What evidence do you have to prove this?
• This can be based on social media engagement, analysis of answers to
quizzes and questionnaires, people’s interaction within/during the action
etc.
• What were the outcomes strengths and weaknesses? (don’t just say
everything went amazingly, be balanced)
• What would you do differently next time to ensure that you did achieve your
aims/objectives? Why?
• For example, if you completed an awareness-raising action did your
media/activity have enough impact? Could you have chosen a more
impactful medium of communication? Could you have selected a strategy
that reached a wider or more specific audience? Were you able to gain

Evaluation of the action (Example)
We created a 13-minute video uploaded onto YouTube that discusses the topic to
help students better realize the dangers of improper dieting. The video’s length is enough
not long enough to lose viewers’ attention while fully conveying our analysis and research,
and examples of how parents can help their children in losing weight makes the video
approachable to both parents and students, helping reach the aim faster. However, its
potential to build attention wasn’t achieved, with the video achieving no more than 60
views. I believe the biggest reason was that it didn’t get the advertisement it needed, as
we
only uploaded it to YouTube without doing anything afterwards. This could’ve been
resolved
if we showed the video to friends and families, while also providing an introduction and
context to help getting into the video easier. In future we need to encourage them to
share
the video to others, multiplying its reach, giving the outcome a needed head start.

Evaluation of own performance

● Two developed points evaluating how successfully you worked with
other team members.
• How effective were your interpersonal relationships in the project?
• Did you keep an open mind about other people’s ideas and opinions?
• Record keeping and planning – did your team create a planning
document? Did you have roles and responsibilities within the plan – if
not how could these be developed further?

Evaluation of own performance (Continued)

● One developed point about how successfully you managed your
own tasks. Don’t answer all the questions, consider your own
circumstance. These are just ideas you can use anything else
related that you want to.
• How well did you participate in your team?
• What was a strength of your performance?
• Did you work effectively within your role? – could your role have
been more clearly defined?

Evaluation

As a leader of the group, I organized my team effectively. For example, I made a specific
division of work document that explained what each member needed to do during the
group work lesson. It was an online document that could be updated as members finished
tasks, it also divided what each member's work. This was a success because we stayed on
task, meaning we were able to have our presentation ready to present to one hundred
people two days before. However, during team work sessions even though my organization
was efficient I found myself not communicating much in the group discussion. For example,
even though the presentation was complete when the rest of the team was planning the
script for the presentation I was focused only on my own task. Meaning that when it came
time to rehearse for the presentation, I kept forgetting my lines. This is poor teamwork. I
didn’t end up helping my team present which put more pressure on my team.

Reflection on teamwork
• You should use examples to explain what the benefits and
challenges of working in a team are. 2 benefits and 2
challenges
• Use experiences from the project to develop and explain
suggestions about how the team could have worked more
effectively. Or about what would be necessary to make the
team more effective in the future. One developed point

Reflection on learning
• You must give detailed and specific reflection on what you
have learnt about your own skills from participating in the
team project.
• You should provide 2 strengths and a weakness.
• Give examples of how the work has contributed to this.
• How the weakness could have been/be improved.

Reflection on teamwork (Example)

Initially our topic was the mental effects of war, which would’ve required finding experts and surveyors
outside of school, on top of the scarcity of information regarding the topic. It was also the beginning of
the semester, so the team didn’t know each other well, we didn’t take assignments seriously and the
lack of information demotivated us. Making us fall behind on our aims for a piece of research per
person each lesson. This was fortunately resolved through a meeting, discussing the potential
roadblocks of this topic, to better realize our vision and produce the topic of weight loss. There was an
abundance of resources as we already have insight on the topic, and our target are students. We then
split the work between everyone. Six tasks to collect information: create surveys; examples of extreme
diets and its effects; why teenagers want to lose weight; improper dieting’s consequences; various
perspectives’ opinions and advice on weight loss; questions for interview. By organizing in this way
each member managed to research a new source per lesson.

Reflection on learning (Example)

It was my first time leading a project, and I found it difficult to have everyone’s attention at once during
meetings, which took a toll on our productivity and resulted in the topic being changed due to
demotivation. As the project leader, though the initial issues had minimal impact on the final product since
our original topic was different, it made me realize the importance of encouraging communication between
members, and the application of that
knowledge by creating a more relatable topic helped us keep up with challenges this project brought.
My final task was to make the final video with another member. Though we didn’t get to editing right away
due to several issues on the software end. Me being good with computers also helped with resolving any
issues on my partner’s side, as well as teach him the software’s basics even though we weren’t present
physically. This engagement with my team member improved my own understanding of the software tools
specifically memorizing shortcuts to help improve efficiency. In the future, I should first research about
issues the software may have to work around it faster and not have to research and learn how to teach
software ideas while needing to meet deadlines.

Reflection on learning from research findings and perspectives
• In-text citations and reference list
• Example of reference list: Webpage Author(s) Last name, Initials. (Year) Page title.
Available at: URL (Accessed Day Month Year).
• Reflect on what you have learned from completing the research. This should be:
• How your understanding of the issue developed by doing research.
• What you have learned from different perspectives on your issue.
• You also need to link this to how your research influenced the project. This could be,
how it helped your team decide an action, think of activities, develop the key points
for a presentation, know which issue would be relevant to choose, who the target
population would be and why that matters etc.
• Mention a limitation of your secondary research or your own primary research and
what could be done in the future.

Reflection on learning from research findings and perspectives (Example)

It was interesting to learn about how although different cultures had separate views on
women and their roles in society and different historical events, it led to the same outcome.
For the Japanese national perspective, the progression to forming discriminatory portrayals
of Asian women was far more gradual through tradition gender roles (Kincaid, 2019) and
modern Japanese pop culture (U/A, 2018) as opposed to the American perspective where a
significant historical event, in this case the US-Vietnam war (Lamothe, 2014), sparked the
introduction of the stereotypical portrayals of Asian women in the media as we know them
today. I believe that this issue can be taken as a lesson that traditions and gender roles or
conventions are not necessarily inherently harmful but have to be balanced and outliers
accepted to maintain healthy societal dynamics.
