The Steps to Transfer the Tourist from the
Airport to the Hotel;
First, prepare the properties you need. Second, go to
international arrival gate 30 minutes before the group
arrives. When the group is about to come show your
fetching board and company flag then call the name of
the group. If the tour leader approach you give
him/her a greeting then ask him/her to make sure
whether he / she is the tour leader of the group you
pick up. Then, if they are the right group you pick up
give them greeting. Next ask them to collect their
luggage so you can count them. After that ask the
porter to help you put the tag on their luggage.
Afterward call the driver to pick up the group.
While waiting for the bus you can let them go to
toilet, money changer or mini market. Don’t
forget to remind them to be back to the meeting
point in fifteen minutes. If the bus arrives take
them to the bus and don’t forget to count them
again. And ask the porter to bring their luggage
to the bus. If all of the tourists are boarded you
together with the tour leader make sure if all the
luggage have been boarded. After that you and
tour leader get into the bus. Don forget to give
tip to the porter.
If you are already in the bus, count them with
your checker after that give them greeting and
introduce your self and the bus crew. Next tell the
distance of the hotel from the airport. After that
explain about Jakarta and Indonesia in general
like, time zones, currency, season, whether etc.
Don’t forget to explain the passing sight. When
you arrive at the hotel help them check in after
that hand out their room keys. Remember to tell
them hotel facilities then remind them about the
tour schedule for the next day. Finally let them go
to their room and wish them a nice rest.
