Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint
• - PowerPoint is a presentation software
developed by Microsoft
• - Used for creating professional and academic
presentations
• - Allows integration of multimedia, transitions,
and designs
Inserting New Slides
• - Go to the Home tab → click New Slide
• - Choose a layout for the new slide
• - Use keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + M to add a new
slide quickly
Choosing Slide Layouts
• - Layout determines the placement of titles,
content, and images
• - Click Layout under the Home tab
• - Common layouts: Title Slide, Title and
Content, Two Content
Font Options in PowerPoint
• - Customize font style, size, and color
• - Use Bold, Italic, Underline for emphasis
