Powder as dosage form

Powder as a dosage form includes various classifications such as bulk powder, divided powder, dusting powder, and insufflation. Bulk powders are mixtures of powdered drugs and excipients but face challenges in dosage accuracy and storage. Divided powders are individually packaged doses, while dusting powders are for external use without systemic absorption, and insufflation involves fine powders for use in body cavities.
