The Researcher Chose Mixed Method Approach Because:

1. Triangulation method enhances credibility and provides valuable

insights into complex issues.

2. It leads to richer interpretations.

3. It also broadens the research's appeal by providing both quantities

and qualitative analysis, resulting in a more robust and holistic analysis
of the research problem.
Research Design

A mixed approach utilizing both qualitative

and quantitative methods of data
collection and analysis were used in this
exploratory study
2 SAMPLING
METHODS

1-Volunteer Sampling Method : For the participants of the

questionnaire.

2- Purposive Sampling method : For the participants for the

semi-structured interview.

(NUNAN; 1992 & NEUMAN, 2006).

A QUESTIONNAIRE AND SEMI-STRUCTURED INTERVIEWS WERE

USED AS THE TOOLS FOR OBTAINING THE REQUIRED DATA.
The Researcher Chose Questionnaires and Follow-up Interviews
Because:

1. This dual approach facilitates triangulation, which improves the reliability of

findings.
2. Questionnaires provide standardization, while interviews offer flexibility,
leading to a more thorough understanding of the research topic.
Ethics of Research

1. Informed Consent: All participants provided written consent after being

informed about the study's purpose and procedures.

2. Confidentiality: Data anonymization protocols were implemented to protect

participant identities.

3. Right to Withdraw: Participants were assured they could withdraw at any

time without repercussions.

The discussion of the results is presented through the
themes emerged from the analysis process. These
themes include:
DISCUSSION
1.The participant teachers' perspectives about their
role during the 21st century
2.The challenges they face in implementing it.

The researcher followed an iterative style in discussing

the results through reflecting on the questionnaire
responses and the interviews answers. This style of
analysis was helpful in identifying any inconsistencies
between the two types of data.
