Gawda, and Velip. The population

with a strong Portuguese influence
visible in culture and tradition.

Popular festivals include Carnival,


Shigmo, Christmas, and Sao Joao.
The Goa Carnival is internationally
known for its vibrant parades and
celebrations.
FOOD
Goan cuisine features
seafood and Portuguese-
influenced dishes.
Famous dishes include
Fish Curry, Pork Vindaloo,
and Bebinca.
CLOTHES
Traditional clothing includes
Nav-Vari sarees for women and
shirts with lungis for men.
