response of our body to
challenging or demanding
situations. It can be a
feeling of emotional or
physical tension triggered
by any event or thought
that makes you feel
frustrated, angry, or
nervous.

Positive Stressors
(Eustress)
Eustress is a beneficial and
motivating type of stress. It is a
positive response to a stressor
that can help you perform better
and achieve goals. Eustress can
make you feel excited and
energized.

How the Body Reacts
to Stress?
When you experience
stress, your body responds in
several ways. These physical
responses are part of the "fight
or flight" response, which
prepares your body to deal with
a perceived threat.

Part 2: Stress Investigation Role Play
1. Have each group pick one stressor.
2. Create a short role-play that shows the stressor, the
physical/emotional responses, and a coping strategy to manage it.
3. Groups will present their role plays to the class.

Coping strategies are the
methods we use to manage

impact on our minds and bodies.
Some coping strategies are

thrive, while others can be
harmful and make our stress
worse.

1. Prepare a shoebox or a small box to use as your "Stress Survival
Kit."
2. Think about the stressors you identified earlier and how your body
responds to stress.
3. Choose things, people, places, or anything that represents different
coping strategies you can use to manage stress. These can include
drawings, written notes, or small objects.
4. Bring coloring materials and colored papers to decorate your kits
and fill them with your chosen items.
5. During the sharing session, present your kits to the class and
explain the significance of each item. 28
