ACTIVITY : CASE STUDY

Case 1
Taking a well-earned break from the detective business, Sherlock Holmes and Watson were on a camping/hiking trip. They had gone to bed and were lying there looking up at the sky. Holmes said, "Watson, look up. What do you see?" "Well, I see thousands of stars. "And what does that mean to you?" "Well, I suppose it means that of all the planets and suns and moons in the universe, that we are truly the one most blessed with the reason to deduce theorems to make our way in this world of criminal enterprises and blind greed. It means that we are truly small in the eyes of God but struggle each day to be worthy of the senses and spirit we have been blessed with. And, I suppose, at the very least, in the meteorological sense, it means that it is most likely that we will have another nice day tomorrow. What does it mean to you, Holmes?"

Case 2
One day, Sherlock Holmes go for vacation in an island and he stay in a 5 star hotel for 1 week. He stays at 3th floor in that hotel and his room number is 307. The manager who is his friend tells him that 3th and 4th floor only available for single room. After that, Sherlock Holmes takes shower after check in, he hear that someone is knocking his room but he just ignore it. The man comes in and find out Holmes is inside the room and shock. The man says: sorry, I get into the wrong room, I thought this is mine room. See my key! Im 309, from next room ...sorry. But after that man leaving, Holmes immediately calls police catch that man and they find out that the man has been sneaked a lot of money inside this hotel. Question: How Sherlock Holmes knows that man is a sneak thief?

Case 3
Kims parents want to give him a present during his birthday but they only give him the present if Kim able answers the question. There are 3 boxes with a sentence on each box. But, only a sentence can be believed. Box 1: The present is inside. Box 2: The present is not inside. Box 3: The present is not inside box 1. So, the present is keep in which box?
