Description: The DBFeeds project is a strategic initiative by Deutsche Bank to consolidate the data, which is spread over 3000 data sources, many of which are redundant because of local use of applications, to an optimal number of data sources. Many of these data interfaces (feeds) are overlapping in terms of data, source and target systems. The re-use of the feed infrastructure occurs at a local level, typically system by system in individual locations. No re-use is present across systems. No
- 4. consistent feed management takes place across systems. Duplication of feed infrastructure and management services are prevalent across systems. These factors contribute to the lack of transparency and control that exists in the Controlling feeds domain. The diverse range of tools and technologies that are currently used also indicates this. Hence, the need for a strategic shared service for feeds processing built using a common architecture, with the following goals. This effort has to be accomplished using the ETL tool, Informatica Power center, which is DB’s strategic ETL tool. Business Objective: The objective of the DBFeeds project is to provide a “feeds” management service for both the data originators and consumers Roles and responsibilities: o Involved in freezing the requirements interacting with the customers/clients. o Interaction with business users for bug fixes and enhancements. o Performed Informatica Administrator functions like enabling-disabling and starting-shutting down Repository and Integration services, creating relational connections, Groups Users, Folders, giving permissions on the folders to the users etc. o Writing Shell Scripts & PL/SQL code to Automate the manual works. o Resolving and clarify data Issue occurred like ‘Missing trade_id’s’, ‘Opening Balance mismatch’ by analyzing the informatica ETL mapping. o Involved in any failures of ETL Jobs and adapter subscriber analyzed RCA and find the recertification to deliver the feed to the consumers. Team Size : 8 Tools : Titan, EMG Jane, GRV(Global Risk Viewer), Marking tool, ASPECT, X-Ray Database : Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g Role : Support and Maintenance. Duration : Jun -2014 to till date. Project Description : Credit Risk application is the Risk management team for the Credit Suisse Investment Banking business, it offers securities products and financial advisory services to corporations, governments and institutional investors, TCS resources responsibility is the calculate risk for the securities which are brought by traders and to deliver to downstream based on critical business requests raised as part of changing business needs. Three Risk Engines are globally used by the Credit Suisse in order to calculate risk • TITAN • Primo • EMG Each machines has their own way calculating the risk. The systems have been developed in Java/J2EE, EJB, and Oracle Database on NT windows environment. Roles and responsibilities: • Responsible to calculate risk for the securities which are brought by traders and to deliver to down streams based on time lines . • Response to fix-on-fail production support issues escalated from users Teams through Mail and Voice Calls, following ITIL procedures for Process Compliance • Providing solutions to complex business critical applications during major incidents.
