Discover the world with the EU
CSR2VET project
In today’s interconnected world, the
possibility to explore new horizons,
learn from diverse cultures, and gain
valuable experiences has become
more accessible than ever.
Erasmus+ Program, an initiative
of the European Union offers
various mobility options, including
student exchange, internships, and
volunteering.
The European Union encourages
mobility of students, staff, trainees,
youth workers and young people. We
have collected some information to
foster students curiosity.
Erasmus Exchange
Bringing people together and expanding minds
At the heart of Erasmus+ lies the concept of people exchange that transcends borders and
fosters cross-cultural understanding. Through Erasmus+ exchange programs, students have the
chance to study abroad, immersing themselves in a new academic environment while embracing
the local way of life. This unique experience enables participants to enhance their language skills,
develop global perspectives and build international networks.
But Erasmus+ goes beyond academics, it’s about personal growth and self-discovery. By
stepping out of their comfort zones, students learn to adapt to unfamiliar surroundings, make
new friends, and navigate different systems.
Financial support: students may receive an Erasmus+ grant as a contribution to their travel and
subsistence costs. This may vary according to differences in living costs between your country
and the destination country, the number of students applying for a grant, the distance between
countries and the availability of other grants..
Conditions to participate:
• Being a student in second year of Bachelor or Master and Doctorate candidate.
Duration:
• The time accepted abroad is between 2 months minimum to 12 months maximum.
European Solidarity Corps
Empathy in Action
While Erasmus exchange focuses on education, the European Solidarity Corps emphasizes
community service and volunteering. This program enables young people (between 18 and 30
years old) to contribute to meaningful projects across Europe and partner countries.
Participants can engage in activities related to social inclusion, environmental sustainability,
disaster response, and more.
The aim of the European Solidarity Corps is not only to lend a helping hand, but also to give
people a sense of solidarity and shared responsibility. Volunteers develop empathy, discover
diverse communities and experience life abroad. This opportunity encourages young people to
become active citizens who make a positive contribution to society.
What is covered?
• Covered by a complementary insurance
• Access to a range of support services such as linguistic support and training
• Basic costs will be covered (travel to and from the project, accommodation, and food)
• Volunteer also receives a small allowance for personal expenses (3-6 euros a day, depending
on the country)
• If the volunteer has specific needs, some costs may also be covered.

Erasmus Traineeships
Opening the way to professional success
In the professional world, Erasmus traineeships open the door to numerous opportunities and
incredible career development. Whether as part of their studies or independently, students,
recent graduates and workers can carry out traineeships in various sectors across Europe. These
traineeships offer the chance to acquire practical skills and develop a network abroad.
Other suggested opportunities
SALTO-Youth - Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities
SALTO-YOUTH is a network of seven Resource Centres working on European priority areas
within the youth field. As part of the European Commission’s Training Strategy, SALTO-YOUTH
provides non-formal learning resources for youth workers and youth leaders and organises
training and contact-making activities to support organisations and National Agencies (NAs)
within the frame of the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Youth programme, the European
Solidarity Corps, and beyond.
EURES
Launched in 1994, EURES is a European cooperation network of employment services, designed
to facilitate the free movement of workers. The network has always worked hard to ensure that
European citizens can benefit from the same opportunities, despite language barriers, cultural
differences, bureaucratic challenges, diverse employment laws and a lack of recognition of
educational certificates across Europe.
Europass
Europass is a free online tool to help people manage their career and studies throughout their life.
With Europass people can:
• Create a personal record of all their skills, qualifications and experiences
• Reflect on their skills to understand their needs and interests.
• Receive personalised course suggestions.
• Prepare and keep track of applications, design custom CVs and cover letters for different
courses and studies.
• Store all documents and files in one secure location.

DiscoverEU
DiscoverEU is an action of the Erasmus+ programme dedicated to 18, or about to turn 18,
years-old. As an 18-year-old resident of the European Union or of one of the third countries
associated to the Erasmus+ Programme, DiscoverEU offers the opportunity to participate in a
travel experience that will enable participants to explore Europe’s diversity, learn about its cultural
heritage and history, and connect with people from all over the continent.
Furthermore, DiscoverEU enables participants, as young people, to develop life skills of value,
such as independence, confidence, and openness to other cultures.
To apply are necessary two conditions:
• be 18 years old, or about to be
• be citizen or legal resident of one of the 27 Member States of the European Union, or a third
country associated to the Erasmus+ programme (Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia,
Norway, Serbia, and Türkiye) or one of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs)
associated with the European Union.
