- 4. To get started just enter “SAP Fiori demo” in Google and select the first link in the result list. You can start the demo after you have agreed to the terms of conditions. You can check out all the different apps displayed in so-called “tiles”, personalize the Fiori launchpad or you select the option to customize and extend the applications. 4
- 5. SAP Fiori, demo cloud edition, provides a number of apps across Line of Business from the Human Capital Management, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution and Accounting lines of business. 5

- 8. You can personalize your content on the SAP Fiori launchpad homepage. You can create new groups, add tiles to groups, reorder and delete tiles, move tiles from one group to another etc. 8
- 9. Here you see the tile catalog of the SAP Fiori launchpad (in case you know Fiori launchpad on ABAP: it is the same concept). In the tile catalog you can assign tiles to groups. The added tile is then visible on the homepage. 9

- 11. You see the Fiori configuration cockpit. From this set of administrative Fiori apps, site administrators can configure applications, launchpad settings, UI theme, localizations and more. 11
- 12. You can create extensions to applications to modify them. In this example, the Approve Purchase Orders app is modified by removing some controls, which are not needed. 12
- 13. In the information panel in the purchase order details, you see many properties. You decide that the Company Code is not needed and that it should be removed. 13
- 14. In the extensibility mode you can select elements on the screen to extend them. The company code information has been removed as you can see in the preview mode. 14
- 15. Now you can deploy the extended app to SAP HANA Cloud Platform. 15
- 16. You can customize themes by launching the UI theme designer. 16
- 17. You can choose the quick or expert mode to change a theme. Here you see how the background color of the Fiori launchpad is changed to yellow. When you are ready, you must export your theme to your desktop. When clicking on import you can import it. You can now see the Fiori launchpad branded with the new theme. 17
